CET provides practical and theoretical assessment services for verification of competency in all areas of electrical and telecommunications. These include interstate, international, and cross-over assessments, so you can work in Western Australia.
As a Registered Training Organisation, we fully comply with the requirements of the Standards for RTO's, in particular with the management and business standards of skills recognition and assessment services.
We provide competency assessment in all aspects of the electrical trade to Certificate IV level. Our experienced assessors provide assessment services both within the CET’s simulated workplace environment and at your workplace. All assessments are completed against competency standards, where they are available.
Currently, we offer assessment services for a number of Government agencies including Trades Recognition Australia (TRA), Building and Energy (Licensing Division) and the WA Department of Training and Workforce Development.
As a provider of quality training within the telecommunications industry, we offer quality assessment as a skills recognition service or as part of our course.
Our experienced assessors are fully endorsed by Industry and will provide assessment services in all aspects of telecommunication training.
Pre-selection testing is conducted for people interested in completing an electrical pre apprenticeship or apprenticeship.
This is conducted by CET on a fee-for-service basis.
All electrical apprentices and pre-apprentices are required to hold an "Electricians Training Licence" before commencing "on the job training".
Testing for the issue of this licence is normally completed through Building and Energy, by either the employer or CET.
Simply contact us at one of our colleges, and we can get you started.
If you have undertaken previous training in the Electrical trade or any associated trades you may qualify for RPL.
For further information on any of the above please contact the administration coordinator at your chosen campus.
