So the time has finally come. You’ve successfully passed your Capstone assessment, everything is up to date, and you’re just waiting on that final piece of paper to arrive confirming you have completed your apprenticeship and are now a fully-fledged electrician – congratulations!

Eligible employers can apply for a wage subsidy of 50% of the apprentice or trainee’s wages

As part of the Economic Response to the Coronavirus (COVID-19), the Australian Government is helping businesses to manage cash flow challenges and to keep your apprentices and trainees employed.

The Australian Government is extending and expanding the Supporting Apprentices and Trainees wage subsidy, to include medium-sized businesses who had an apprentice in place on 1 July 2020.
