Electrical Group Training (EGT) is the largest employer of electrical apprentices in Western Australia. Our apprentices are amongst the safest and best trained in the electrotechnology industry.
As a not-for-profit charitable group training organisation, EGT employs and trains apprentices within the electrical industry, and places them with a host employer. Apprentices may be placed with a number of different host employers throughout their apprenticeship. As a result, our apprentices are exposed to a wider variety of industry experience, providing the opportunity to develop more skills and fulfilling, lifelong careers.
Electrical Group Training also provides businesses with a low-risk, flexible employment solution through our group training model.
If you need an electrical apprentice for an upcoming project, or on an ongoing basis, make sure you contact EGT to find out more about our convenient host employer services. We take care of recruitment, training and payroll. Simply choose the apprentice year level and length of placement, and we’ll find the apprentice that’s right for your business.
Check out our numbers for the 2022 calendar year. 'By the Numbers' is a clear snapshot of some of EGT’s most recent achievements, as well as those of our parent organisation, ECA WA, and sister companies College of Electrical Training and Equip-Safe (RTO code 2394).
