Congratulations to Kat Born!
We are thrilled to announce that EGT's Kathryn Born has been recognised as one of the 2023 Top 100 Women in Construction! We are so proud of Kat and everything she does for our industry. A qualified electrician and business owner, and now a Host Services Officer at EGT, her skills and talent are in such high demand that she is also known to teach at the College of Electrical Training and is usually the face of EGT at partnership events, school visits and career expos.
Kat also lends her time and expertise supporting women in our trade. She is a current member of NAWIC's Women in Trade's Committee, a founding member of the WA Electrical Women's Advisory Group, and has also volunteered for Trade-UP, Tradeswomen Australia, Sparkettes and Supporting and Linking Tradeswomen (SALT).
