State Minimum Wage Increase

The WA Industrial Relations Commission (WAIRC) has imposed approximately a 6.3% increase to the State Minimum Wage, bringing the State minimum wage entitlement to $918.60 per week or $24.17 per hour. The WAIRC also imposed a 4% general increase to award rates taking effect on the first pay period after 1 July 2024.

Superannuation Reminder

Note also that the employer superannuation contribution also increased from 11% to 11.5% from 1 July 2024.
