Finishing your apprenticeship soon? You may be eligible for $2000 from CTF!

The Construction Training Fund (CTF) is launching the Apprentice Completion Grant and an additional tools reimbursement on 1 July 2023 for a 12-month period.

The Apprentice Completion Grant is a one-off payment of $2,000 to construction apprentices and trainees who complete their qualifications between 1 July 2023 and 30 June 2024.

An additional $500 (maximum) reimbursement is also available to these students as repayment for the purchase of work-related tools and/or safety equipment between 1 July 2023 and 30 June 2024.

How to claim

Apprentice Completion Grant

As the CTF have your completion date and information from the Department of Training and Workforce Development, you only need to confirm your bank details. To do this, simply login to the CTF portal and navigate to Apprentice Completion Grant. 

Work-related tool and/or safety equipment reimbursement

Submit a claim by logging into the CTF portal and navigating to Completion Tools Rebate. You will need to upload copies of your receipts with the date, amount and description clearly visible. You can submit more than one claim, however the maximum amount payable to you is $500. All claims must be submitted by 30 September 2024 for purchases within the 2023/24 financial year.
